Bidrage med feedbackYou don 't see too many mom and pop delicatessens around anymore. Dag 's is that. Order a sandwich and someone slices the meats and cheeses and makes it for you directly. Good quality. Friendly staff. Also lots of ready made meal options and a decent sampling of groceries and specialty items. Ample parking also. Sometimes it gets busy so make sure you take a number. But don 't worry, there 'll be 10 people working the deli counter and someone will take care of you soon.
Their deli meats are mediocre quality and overpriced. The prices are not posted on the board. Their corned beef, for example, is $25/lb and the worst corned beef I?ve ever tasted. (Edit: I raised this from 1 to 2 stars because they gave me my money back for this without issue.
A staple of Arlington and the ideal place to get a cold sub, especially their Italian (with everything hots). My friends and I swear by it. Additionally, great staff and service. Clean and well-maintained environment.
Had a meatball sub and my wife had an Italian sub. They were both ok, nothing extraordinary. Fast to order and your typical deli style counter along with a few aisles with all the other items you would find In a deli. They didn't have a toaster to toast your sub or sandwich, so if you want anything warm you have to order things that can be microwaved.. Like the meatball sub. Ok. Nice clean, would go again but wouldn't tell anyone you have to go there to try their food.
If your not going here already for their subs and premade food your serious missing out. From the staff to the food they Don?t miss at anything , the guys behind the counter are by far some of the nicest ppl I?ve met. My go to is usually the turkey and Swiss and the quality of the bread and meat is top notch . They offer a nice variety of grocery?s and treats Thru out the rest of the store . A must have stop in the heights
