Classico - Arlesheim

We had a warm welcome-alough without reservation, we were tonight and all had beef/anxiety on steingrill. excellent, with a nice selection of wines of all classes. we'll be back.

I've known this restaurant since childhood. like many other restaurants it has undergone a continuous development. j. gamboni and t. schmeitzky have led this for many years at a high level. I have eaten there several times during my Arlesheim period and can give only one best note and this in everyone's view.

Very suitable for meat lovers and enjoyable good wine. also the garden is very cozy and at the bar you can let the evening sound well. cosy spaces that are also suitable for romantic evenings.

Were four on a Saturday evening in classico and ordered the table grill. this was unfortunately very slowly hot, because only two candles were burning. to demand the unfriendly waitress told us that you could call earlier and they would preheat the grill. next to us there was another four table on which two people were. again very unfriendly one of us was pointed out that he should leave his glass on our own table (although we had almost no more space) that one could have formulated differently. was probably an untrained labour force. Apart from that, the meat was very good.
