Surf Arinsal- Discoteca

What a terrible disappointment! I can't say anything about food, because I didn't have the chance to taste it (we preferred to give up on the 'friendliness of the reception'), but I can tell you to go your way if you're looking for a warm place and a quality service: the staff is completely outdated as soon as 3 tables are complete! I will only keep Surf Arinsal the deplorable image of a vulgar and professional staff.

I've spent the last 13 years winters working in Arinsal, which is blessed with several very good Argentinian restaurants. But in the face of stiff competition, surf is consistantly the best of the lot. The food is incredible value for money from a British perspective. The portions are huge (as in steaks the size of your forearm huge) and cooked to perfection. My personal favourites here are the entrana and milanesa napolitana. A little tip, if you are Brit, I would usually order it slightly more cooked than you would usually have at home. ie medium not medium-rare. This applies to any restaurant in Arinsal, not just surf. I've noticed a few people complain about the service, personally I've always found them friendly and welcoming. But that said, as a rule of thumb, it's more difficult to maintain high standards of personal service as the restaurant gets busier. But lets analyse why the restaurant gets so busy..... It's because it's **** popular due to it's consistent excellence.
