Beautiful meal. Lamb was melt in your mouth, naan bread so light. Staff very friendly and attentive and was not expensive. Would definitely come back
One of the best Indian meals we've had. We've visited twice and plan on returning before we go home. Can't recommend this place enough 10/10
Taj Palace mogan mall advertising that they reopen on the 4th of June then when you go on the 4th of June they say no where not open we are open as normal tomorrow so you then go the next day to be told no not open till after 8pm when the opening times on the window say 1pm open til 12. So they have no communication with customers whatsoever so hence the 1 star review. BAD SPOT !!!
During our recent visit to Gran Canaria, we had the unfortunate experience of dining at Taj Mahal, a restaurant that appeared promising based on its glowing Google reviews. However, the vast disconnect between the praise online and our own experience has us questioning the authenticity of those reviews. Our order consisted of the Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Kebab, both staples of Indian cuisine. Given the restaurant's high ratings, we expected these dishes to be cooked to perfection, providing a tasteful burst of aromatic Indian spices. However, the reality was disappointingly different. The Tandoori Chicken, although edible, lacked the vibrancy and flavor we anticipated. As for the Lamb Kebab, it was, regrettably, a total miss. It was not only tasteless but also seemed to have been marinated in the same Tandoori masala as the chicken, robbing it of its distinct, rich flavor profile. Worse still, the lamb had a strong, raw smell of ginger, indicating a flaw in its preparation. Considering the quality of the food served, the €35 price tag felt exorbitant and unjustified. Our experience at Taj Mahal, Gran Canaria, was a letdown, and we strongly believe that potential diners should be aware of this before deciding to spend their hard-earned money here. It was truly a missed opportunity for what could have been a wonderful culinary journey.
