MEIJI SUSHI & Teppan Sushi - Arequipa

The place announced a Ramen festival for the day, they open at 11 am. We arrived after 12.00, first they took forever to do anything, and there were only 3 tables occupied we ask for their ramen special, unfortunately it was cold, not even warm. We asked the waiter to please warm it up, she took the soup to the kitchen and few minutes later it was back, still cold. I asked for a dish ramen, it had fish, octopus and sweet potato in what looked like a soggy version of tempura, as it was in the soup the coating didn't help. We noticed the table next to us also asked for their soup to be warmed up.

I was visiting Arequipa from San Jose, California and my family and I missed sushi so much. We tried this place and boom... we hit the jackpot. Great sushi and they made us feel at home.

Our favorite sushi place and the tempura is yummy. They make wonderful dessert sushi too. Service is excellent .

Food is good, but the service is terrible, we were waiting an extremely long time for someone but nothing. They need to improve service.
