La Cheminee - Arequipa

This is a lovely restaurant close to the Casa Andina Hotel in Calle Jerusalen in Arequipa. I loved the fish dishes which were perfectly cooked, and my Husbands meal was nearly as nice as mine. Being away from the main square, the meals were reasonably...priced, and the service excellent. The staff were helpful and did not rush you. There are outdoor and indoor eating areas. This place might not look much from the outside, but like a lot of Arequipa, the most interesting things are hidden away..

This restaurant is closed and now in the same place is located El Fuego de San Antonio, which is a good place to taste Alpaca and Lamb Grill

Great location, near plaza de armas, good selection of Peruvian foods, very recommended the Kuje

Fair food with good service. The atmosphere was really nice for lunch. The prices for the lunch set menu were excellent, but went a little after five.

It was Easter. My friend and I alone at the restaurant. We were treated so well and the foods were prepared for our specific wishes. The owner and the boss trains in Florida. He's a master. Try it anyway.
