Libby's Catfish Diner - Ardmore

Awesome I love the people, the food, and the atmosphere makes you feel at home.

This restaurant serves the best catfish in town, and the grilled chicken breast is absolutely delicious - it melts in your mouth! The staff here is also wonderful.

My family and I were thrilled to have Libby's open in our small town. We have dined there for dinner a few times and enjoyed the food, but have found the service to be slow. This past weekend, we decided to try their breakfast with the whole family. Unfortunately, we were seated near a lady who was coughing and hacking, which made us question if she was cooking our food. After waiting for 45 minutes and hearing the sick lady yell from the kitchen, we decided to pay for our coffee and find food elsewhere in Ardmore. After discussing our experience with neighbors, we discovered they had also had negative experiences at the restaurant and would not be returning. Unless there are significant improvements, we fear Libby's may not succeed in our town.

We live near Libby's and absolutely love it. One of the best things about this restaurant is that they are always open. During a recent ice storm, we visited twice and were impressed that Libby's remained open despite the difficult road conditions. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, with a simple and southern touch. My go-to dish is the fried catfish plate, which is always perfectly cooked. They offer a variety of daily sides and specials to choose from, with my favorite being the broccoli casserole. On weekends, they even include a free dessert, usually a type of cake, with your meal. We have also enjoyed their late breakfast service, which goes until as late as 2 pm. For just $4, you can get a delicious 3-egg omelet with grits and toast or a biscuit. I must say, their bacon is the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The pancakes and hash browns are also excellent choices on the menu.
