Bidrage med feedbackWe ordered roast duck(half) and squirrel fish. I'd say it's quite authentic Chinese taste!!! Service is nice as well. 1 star deducted because we tried to order scallop with garlic and bean vermicelli at the first however they didn't serve it today although it's the recommended dish.
This place is beautifully decorated. The service is excellent. However, it is pricey. The duck sliders which were the equivalent of Peking Duck, were very good albeit the duck skin was not crispy. The Kung Pao chicken was superb although inundated in peanuts. The sauce was delicious. The rice with shrimp was light and fluffy and not saturated with soy sauce as is all too common in so many other eateries. The sweet and sour pork was lack luster though the meat itself was extremely well prepared and grizzle free. However, the sauce tasted heavily like tomatoe which depressed the overall flavor of the dish. The food is good and their menu extensive. But what makes this place special are it's visuals.
So much variety, very different textures and flavors than I’ve tried in the past. Presentation of the actual meal vs the stock photo was something to be wondered so may have changed my rating
A little pricey, but they serve the best peking duck sweet sour fish !
We came here labor day Sunday, so it was a little busy. We ordered, pork bun, wonton soup, sautéed steak and water spinach. Overall the food was delicious and satisfying I love the taste of the wonton soup very simple and clean, although I expected there portions to be bigger, since its the usual for most of sit down Chinese restaurants, my soup was in a small cup and that cost 7.99 I believe...this place is a lil pricey, but nevertheless we enjoyed the food. The pork bun was sooo soft and flavorful too. I took off one star because the water spinach took so long we had to cancel the order... and we waited a long time to get my husband's sautéed steak too.... This place is known for their duck, I would like to try that next time...
