We had car trouble and broke down around 11 o'clock. We happened to pull into this restaurant by pure chance, but we were so glad that we did. A waiter was already in the parking lot trying to help another car with issues. The whole staff, including a man, a lovely young lady, and a server who may have been the girl's mother, were incredibly kind and helpful. They offered assistance for as long as we needed it and even gave us a drink. They served us some delicious boudin and helped us find a mechanic and a hotel. We could not have stopped at a better place. It was a gas station, a convenience store, and a breakfast diner all in one. We are so grateful that we chose to go there instead of another station we passed by. It was all pure coincidence.

I recently purchased a brisket sandwich for $6.00. However, I was surprised to find that it only included one slice of brisket cut into three strips. The price listed on the menu did not match what was charged to me. When I called to inquire about this discrepancy, Stacy informed me that I had received the sliced brisket option. I then asked about their closing time so I could return the sandwich, but she abruptly hung up the phone.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. I appreciate the quality of the food and the service provided. Larger truck stops could learn a thing or two from this place when it comes to providing good food and excellent customer service. I am definitely grateful for it.
