D'altitude L'epicéa

New passage in this restaurant in the week of 18.2.19. This time on the terrace on the afternoon time. As it was a week of school holidays the restaurant was full to crack. The service was a little 'streated' and everything had to go fast but in general the servers (and waitresses) were friendly. Concerning our dishes (Chili con carne, Diots, beef net) we were a little disappointed with the quality and presentation of the plates. Chile had a very pronounced taste of cumin, spice that must be dosed with great finesse otherwise the cumin quickly dominates all other flavors and aromas. Chile was so overdosed in cumin that we stopped eating it after several spoons. We told the server that just answered Ah, Chile didn't rain you... . He saw that the plate was still half filled but he did not even propose to replace it or to propose a coffee.... The beef fillet was very well cooked and tender. The sauce was over everywhere. There was a ratatouille, fries and a little salad. The Diots were good, accompanied by fries and salad only. Too bad the dish didn't contain vegetables. L 'Epicéa is well located with a beautiful sunny terrace. It's a shame that the staff has no more attention to the quality and constitution of dishes and dressage. If those responsible preferred the quality of the dishes and the satisfaction of the customers to the number of people served, this restaurant could easily differ from its competitors. Friendly staff and warm place. The menu offers local specialties and a few dishes 'pass by all'. We took the nachos in the entrance and cheese fondues. Two friendly dishes. The dishes were hearty and good. I advise you to book, especially the days when it is bad because the terasse will not be 'in service'.

Really disappointed... The correct curry chicken against lasagna was really bad... We reported it to the server, but the one told us it wasn't for us. No commercial gesture It's a shame.
