Bidrage med feedbackI love Tamara's so much, and I've been coming here since the place opened. I only visit occasionally, but I usually swing through here when I'm in town. This is a great spot, and the crew here is amazing. I've eaten here a bunch, with a lot of different food and drinks, and almost everything has been great. If they have the grouper cheeks, get them. You will not be disappointed! The surf and turf Cajun) is also really good, and a huge amount of food. We had a pasta dish that included some seafood a while back I cannot remember exactly what it was) and it blew our minds, so pasta is now on the list of things to try here basically anything with seafood you can't go wrong. We just swung in recently and veered off the seafood menu it was Tuesday, so we got the tacos in the bar area $5 for two) and they were great! We also got ropa vieja awesome) and the steak quesadilla the biggest and most stuffed I have ever seen). Everything was just so good. Happy hour until 7pm! Can't recommend coming here enough. It's a great spot in Apalachicola.
If I were to have come alone this probably would have been higher. I ordered the soft shelled crab sandwich. Didn 't want something fried. It was fried. But it still tasted okay. The rest of the family didn 't do so well... My son ordered from the kids menu. He wanted Linguini. He had the options of: Plain linguini $8) Alfredo linguini $10) Alfredo linguini with chicken $13). He ordered plain. He got Alfredo. I asked to get it switched to plain. The person I asked told me that is just how it is made. Plain is Alfredo. I asked, What is Alfredo then? She said, that is with Alfredo with Chicken. I asked, What is Alfredo with Chicken then? She said, that is supposed to say Shrimp. The look on her face was why is this a problem for you. When we got the bill, it showed we were charged for Alfredo linguini for $9. My daughter ordered a chicken quesadilla, she got cheese. We asked about it, they made her another one, but it took longer to get than the original order. My wife ordered the turkey club. It came out without the bacon, lots of turkey, none of the sauce. They gave us 15% off for our confusion which was nice. I 'm still baffled by that linguini.
Eh, it's okay. Overall everything was lacking flavor, but it was okay. Service was awful but I'm not reviewing that right now given the circumstances. We went on Monday because nothing else was open. Try if you must but overall nothing special.
Had lunch there today. We had soup/sandwich, french dip and chicken salad. The grilled cheese sandwich that came with the soup was thin and pressed down. French dip was okay but bread was soggy and fries were sparse. Chicken salad looked good and homemade chips that came with it was flavorful. Though masks are required for patrons, no employees (to include kitchen) did not wear one. Our table was near the kitchen and noticed a large roach walking out from the kitchen area as we were leaving. Don't plan to return.
Great little cafe with interesting menu. Good Seaford dishes and menu changes daily. Some waitresses wore masks. None of customers. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere, art. Some outdoor seating.
