Pizzeria Belvedere - AOSTA

The Faulty Towers of rude service. Food was very good , nice beer, lovely location sitting outside. Unwaveringly rude service however. Change the staff and the place would be perfect.

We visited the restaurant with our children. The following review is made with disppointment as our meal was nice. However, when ordering our meal we asked for tap water from the waitress. We know that some restaurants in italy refuse to serve tap water but she said this was fine and brought us two bottles of water over the course of our meal, in an unsealed glass bottle with the restaurants name on it. When we received the bill it turned out we were charged 7 euros for the water. We questioned this with the waitress who got who we assume was the owner. He told us that they didn't serve tap water only bottled water. We explained that we had asked for tap water and as the bottle we received wasnt sealed we didnt think we had received bottled water. He shouted at my husband and said tap water wasnt possible. As one of the bottles was full we went to take it with us when we left as we had paid for it. The owner came over and said we couldn't take it. We explained that they had charged us for the water which we hadn't drunk so we wanted to take it. He shouted at us again and then threatened to call the police on us for stealing the water bottle. As far as we were concerned we had paid for the water so could take it, however we didn't as didn't want to cause a scene. My son ended up in tears as he was so upset by the exchange and the anger from the owner. We were left disappointed as the meal had been good and the waitress very nice. Its a shame the owner really let's this restaurant down. We gave our full bottle of water to another table for them to enjoy as we left. We regularly come to Aosta and have eaten in many good restaurants but will not be coming here again purely for the attitude we received.

We popped in for lunch and so glad we did! Ravioli was wonderful, gnocchi tasty and pizza fantastic! Great service too…. I cannot understand the negative reviews!!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante per caso, già entrati leggo le recensioni negative e temo. Forse siamo stati fortunati, ma con noi il personale è stato gentile e attento, servizio veloce e cibo buono. Abbiamo provato alcuni piatti tipici, tutti buonissimi e siamo usciti con la voglia di tornare e assaggiare la pizza perchè il locale era pervaso da un profumo super invitante e le pizze dei tavoli vicini erano davvero belle da vedere.

Un ristorante senza troppe pretese, ci siamo seduti e tempo 10 minuti avevamo già le pizze e il primo in tavola. La ragazza che ci ha serviti è stata molto gentile. Quello che abbiamo mangiato tutto buono
