Many people prefer to sit outside, but to fully appreciate this restaurant go through the shop into a small room with about eight tables. The kitchen is next door and you can admire the chef at work. My smoked salmon starter was delicious chunks rather than thin slices and the pasta was superb. My wife enjoyed her dishes too. The wine list was comprehensive but on the recommendation of our waitress we tried a reasonably priced local white. It was excellent. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
Stopped off for a drink here before dinner and got a great surprise. Locally produced 2017 oaked Chardonnay poured from a Coravin, icy chilled on a boiling hot afternoon; a small plate of excellent cheeses, beetroot barolo boudin, ham and bread. Truly welcoming owner and staff. Will definitely sample again on another visit. Fab selection of local wines and charcuterie to buy too.
Nice local in the center of the neighborhood. some tables are still quite entertained. the traditional menu is a great choice of wines.
Very interesting restaurant in the center of the old town near the pretoria door. friendly and fast service, traditional dishes well cooked and with excellent products. price in standard by position.
