Andaman Sunset - Ao Nang

The steak tasted like expensive cow and the hot plate it was served on was tantamount to grilling your own meal at home but kind of like a restaurant but mainly with the added novelty of occasionally touching the edge of your hand on the surface of the sun. 5/5 for the quality of food and service; 1/5 for my new miniature injuries.

Bad service , food super so so. Served me a toast with liquid butter. I also asked for a butter knife and they said use the one on the table( which was the main knife) I requested for a second one she said I already have one. Waiter asked me if I want to have my starter finish first before bringing the main course, I said yes pls. When I just have my first sip of soup, the main course is served.

Came to the restaurant after 13:00, and we are the only table they have, service is good. The steak and the dessert are not bad.

Whatever this place tries to be, it’s a disaster. The meat albeit good, the sauces were very strange. An odd mishmash and extremely overpriced for what it is. Don’t come ever. Waste of time and money.

I think some of the reviews are a bit unfair. We came across this restaurant while looking for Halaal red meat in Ao Nang. We were lucky to get a table on Xmas eve as the restaurant was packed. The service was really good, good attention to detail and the highlight was of course the Rib Eye steak served on a sizzling hot plate. I would definitely return.
