I went to Zaowang for dinner after exploring Antwerp. The service was very friendly throughout the evening. Unfortunately, only one sushi set was clearly labeled as vegan, so I had to inquire about the other options. The sushi was tasty, but I had read reviews mentioning special vegan options beyond just cucumber. I ended up with one roll filled with avocado and two rolls with the same filling wrapped in colored seaweed. I also ordered some other dishes and was happy to see edamame on the menu so I could get some protein.

Best vegan sushi combo, great variety including crispy sushi

They have a vegan sushi combo you can order (25 or 50 pieces), presented on a boat. Other sushi places may also offer vegan sushi, but those are often boring (only cucumber or avocado maki)... Zaowang makes lots of different types of vegan sushi with a lot of variation in their ingredients. These taste better than the regular ones with fish, even people who aren't vegan told me this!

A lot of vegan options and specific mentions on the menu. Would recommend the Vegan Maki mix!
