Oliver Fish House - Antioch

I'm picky about my catfish but this place is good. The fish is fried perfectly not too soft not too hard. The fries are a generous portion and seasoned with seasoning salt. They keep Crystal Hot sauce on the tables (Thank you Lord). But they ran out of tarter sauce. Customer service was anh. I was disappointed in that but the food was great. I'll be back.

Crazy delicious. Mac n cheese is amazing, collard greens were perfectly cooked. Catfish and tilapia were beautifully fried and the cornmeal coating was perfect. GUMBO IS OUT OF THIS WORLD! It had so much seafood and the broth was to die for. Good job ladies...we found our new spot. Cant wait to try the crab and shrimp loaded fries and the snapper.

This was my first visit, and I was greeted by some really nice people! The staff, including who I believe was the owner, welcomed me warmly. The fried food was typical of fried cuisine. My only concern was that it seemed like everything was frozen. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the food! The prices were reasonable. It’s a cozy little spot, and I’ll definitely return!

Everything was great, but the greens are way too salty every time! Perhaps you could go a little lighter on the salt!

I ordered the fish—catfish and red snapper—and it was cooked to perfection, tender and moist. Instead of fries, I highly recommend the greens and yams/sweet potatoes; they're fabulous! However, if you do opt for fries, you won't be let down either—they're well-seasoned and you'll be tempted to keep them all to yourself.
