Creperie du Thion - Annecy

Good crepes that tasted great and the service was very good. The waitresses were friendly and the food arrived quickly. The cider was sub par, but it wasn’t bad. Nice place.

Great service, nice food, extra water served on a hot day. Lovely views! I had a very nice crepe there.

When the sun came out we grabbed a small table overlooking the area between the church and canal. This was an impromptu choice based solely on the weather and location. However we had a lovely if somewhat unorthodox brunch I had a gorgeous Niçoise salad and my wife had a Citroen crepe washed down with rose cider. This was a lovely pit stop and a great spot for people watching. It was also great value at only €25 excluding tip. Highly recommend

Tonight was our 2nd visit. While the wine is quite bad, there aren't many options in Annecy, and we pass this place often (in our 24 hours here , so went back as its in a lively portion of town. We ordered our subpar Rose (which is difficult considering the wine in France is the best in the world, and at extraordinary low pricing . When our piche was at most half empty, we were notified that we needed to leave, as other patrons had left. We were given no warning whatsoever. When we said that we would finish our wine ASAP and happily leave, the woman (who seemed like she was possibly on steroids began throwing buckets of water and screaming like a cartoon character. We live between Manhattan, London, and Paris (literally , coming to Annoy for the first time from Paris the night prior and have NEVER experienced such behavior anywhere in the world in person. it literally turned in to an all out screaming fest by the steroid woman (we were in Chanel, heels, pants and dress shoes, with our two small dogs , where we could not even get a word in edgewise (in English ou Francais to explain that every other restaurant was open and we were not notified that they were closing in the near future or we would have chosen elsewhere. Unfortunately, given the location in the centre of town, I am sure that they will continue this behavior, considering what horrific reviews they already have, and we would never have researched them prior to our visits. We have been many times to another restaurant a bit further down the street (more picturesque, right on the water, literally meters away , with MUCH better wine, and for similar pricing. Not to mention no one screaming at you in the streets causing a scene as you quietly sit at an end table trying to enjoy a peaceful evening (this was at 8-9 pm, so not a drunken hour, as we are in our 30s, not rowdy university students; we understand and have seen that annecy seems to be a bit rough in the quality of tourists, but not everyone should be treated with disrespect (nor should anyone, without reason .

Superbly located restaurant with a lot of tables offering a superb view. Very long service, I heard the waitress say there was only one person in the kitchen. The week of the 15th August filled with tourists, it's probably a little bit of a mess. Once served, very disappointed ... ultra classic crêpe as we do at home, box pineapple, onion just cut into de without any preparation. the products are fresh and it's correct, but you really don't have to expect some extra ... just take a little meal break while enjoying a great view.
