Taco Ssam - Annandale

Food was delicious! Tasted like homemade. Nice atmosphere and service.

Our server was amazing! She was attentive and efficient!We had been meaning to check this place out and finally walked in. The decor is cute and inviting. The carne asada fries were delicious! The cheese had a tiny kick to it which was really nice!The rest of the food was good but not great. The pork in the tamales was not shredded and there were chunks of veggies as well. I’m not an expert so I’m not sure if this is a variation. It just wasn’t what I was expecting but the masa was good. Out of all the tacos we tried the galbee tacos had the most flavor so it was our favorite. The rest of the tacos were either a bit bland or super oily. The taquitos were on a dry side so it was nice to have the lettuce and tomatoes on top.The one thing that can’t be beat are the prices. My family walked out with full tummies having paid only about $17 per person. It is hard to go to a sit down restaurant and eat a meal for that price these days!All in all, an ok spot but there are definitely better options for fusion tacos.

Delicious tacos! The birria tacos were full of meat! We were in a bit of a rush, and the waitress was so attentive and had our meals out to us quickly. The ambiance is nice--lots of Mexican decor.

So, I saw 2 people eating a birria pizza on TikTok and I went in a mission to find it in Virginia. The food is very good. We got the pizza de birria and Ssam Ramen with bulgogi. Soooooooo good.

Favorite spot for street tacos! Their birria is good as well and hearty. I've had all the Korean tacos, chorizo, lengua, and al pastor. They all are delicious! The lunch special can't be beat, 4 for $10!!! Great atmosphere and waitresses are awesome. Haven't been here for happy hour but specials and prices look great. Can't go wrong.
