Old Town Tavern - Ann Arbor

Let's start saying that we recommend here from another bar on the street. With that said on our arrival we were sitting immediately, friendly waiters friendly bartender, but where the story draws 5 stars is the fact that my husband did not order but two orders from chili cheeseries. Let's just say an orgasm in the mouth, you should probably go.

We stopped by for the 50th anniversary. The atmosphere was amazing and service was very prompt and friendly. We have not eaten here yet so I cannot read food but I will be back again for sure.Service: 5/5

Very enjoyable experience, worthy of 5 stars with a few caveats. The Old Town Tavern is comfortable and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. The beer list is respectable and includes favorites and unique options as well. Menu is impressive and the food we ordered was very good.Feedback on the menu: the queso cheese used in the nachos has great flavor, and would be perfect for dipping chips. Poured over the nachos, however, it turns the chips into a soggy mess before the plate is even delivered to the table. Kind of a bummer.While this is clearly not a sports bar, you can watch the game at the Old Town. The TV's are small and not too well placed however. This is probably why you can find a seat here during a home game.

This is about as solid of a spot as one can find in Ann Arbor. The food and service lived up to my insanely high expectations!

Honestly the best chili cheese fries I have ever eaten in my life, highly recommend. The Nashville hot chicken was hella delicious but it is not kidding when it says hot. my husband loved the barbacoa bowl. 10 out of 10 would recommend
