Le Bon Macaron - Ann Arbor

Beautiful shop, beautiful macarons but that's where it ended none of the six different kinds that we tried tasted of anything but sugar.. so sad because they were beautifully baked.

Absolute best place to get macrons, the flavors change every day so it's a surprise every time what you can get but they're all so good it gets hard to choose

Delicious macarons! So visually pleasing and delicious. I always try to buy some whenever I'm in the area. They are quite pricey but makes great gifts for others (and yourself). I'm always in the mood for some sweets. Glad that they have a nice amount of flavors to choose from.

Absolutely darling little shop! Definitely worth a quick stop if you are in downtown Ann Arbor. The space is tiny, but decorated in a delightful tea party chic kind of way. You'll get plenty of pics for your Instagram in this place! The staff was very friendly and they also do a nice job of listing out dietary restrictions for each type of macaron (Note: the majority are gluten free and the exceptions are clearly marked). The macarons themselves are generally quite good, although some flavors I think are more successful than others. The presentation of the macarons is perfect! They all look stunning. Le Bon Macaron has a TON of flavor options, although not every flavor will be available every day. Overall, I would say that the majority of their macarons are very sugary/sweet. When we went we got a variety to taste: Matcha you could generally taste the matcha flavor, but it was really drowned out by the intense sugary ness of the macaron 6/10 Raspberry a classic. Very good! 10/10 Mexican Chocolate this one has cayenne pepper in it, which definitely comes through in the end. pretty good! 8/10 Speculoos this did not taste like speculoos remotely. This one just did not work for me 2/10 If I were to return to Le Bon Macaron, I would probably stick with the more traditional macaron flavors. Overall, glad I stopped by this place and would recommend it!
