I have been here countless times it’s my friends and I’s boba place. It took me awhile to figure out which boba I liked (never had boba before) and there has been some weird ones but once I found one that I loved I was on the boba hype train. So far I like the strawberry slushie with green apple poppings. I also liked there Oreo snow. I have also tried various snacks and I enjoy there chicken and rice bowl (teriyaki) but my friend really likes the curry one. I also tried there spring rolls which was decent but I have tried better. I will definitely go again, and I want to try more foods and drinks here
Got take out. I’d say the boba is a bit firm, but if you like that this place is fine. They have lots of topping options.
We have Quickly on the West Coast but I didn't know that they serve food?? Then again, I haven't been to Quickly in forever—in Southern California there are like 500 boba shops in my vicinity and Quickly got drowned out. Drink quality (matcha milk tea) was as mediocre as I remembered and the takoyaki was... interesting. I've never actually had takoyaki before, so I'm not sure what it's supposed to taste like, but it basically tasted like mashed potatoes inside a crispy outer shell slathered with BBQ? Super crowded service was slow bc I'm guessing this is a popular hangout spot for U of M students.
I tried their popcorn chicken and a honeydew milk tea with tapioca boba. The tea had, to me, a faint honeydew flavor, which made me a bit sad. The popcorn chicken remained piping hot to the last bite, and while it was good, I wish I had chosen a different sauce (I tried the curry sauce). The curry sauce didn't play nice with the chicken flavor, I thought. Anyway, it was very fun to try!
