El Tajin - Angus

The authentic Mexican dishes at this restaurant are fantastic. The food is excellent and the service is both relaxed and attentive. The selection of tequila available to finish off the meal was outstanding. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit.

We love to support independent restaurants so that we have opened an authentic Mexican restaurant in angus with us. el tajín has not disappointed. from Mexican chef, martha and her Scottish man, charles, they bring a ray Mexican sunshine to montrose. we started with a round of margaritas with smokey mescal, then enjoyed zesty guacamole, homemade tortillas and the best fried beans I have ever tasted. the mains were soft tacos stuffed a selection of filling including inverbervie geese, goats from inverkeilor and arbroath smokie, and a delicious pork shell with multiish chipotle sauce, all accompanied with iconic triad by pico de gallo, green and red chili sauces. after further innovative cocktails, including a delicious chocolate martini, made with arbikie gin, we have torn off martha's epic pecan pee. tex mex this is certainly not! fantastic to see that martha also includes high-quality local products in its menus, with its unique Mexican twist. a fantastic, informal hidden gem you need to discover

An amazing taste experience! beautiful intimate ambiente, with the most fantastic Mexican food they will ever taste! really friendly, friendly staff, a hidden gem in montrose, I cannot recommend it very much! and they need their latest cocktails, the green iguana, delicious and very delightful! you have to pay them a visit, you will not regret it! we will be back

Amazing authentic mexicans, were a few times and always a brilliant meal and great atmosphere

I checked Google before visiting this restaurant and found myself down a charming alley, leading to a hidden under street garden with a green door. We enjoyed two starters and a shared main course, all of which were delicious. Pairing our meal with a couple of tequilas was the perfect touch. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
