Particularly good on Fado (music nights) at weekends. Exceptionally good food, beautifully presented

As we were staying in the Pousada, this was the perfect place to end each day. Most evenings we would meet others who were staying at the Pousada and exchange information about things to do and places to see. The owners/bartenders were fun to talk to and full of helpful information!

Was looking for a quiet place to watch the sunset at the end of the day. Attached to our hotel, the Prasada, the C Bar hit the spot. Nice intimate surrounds with an inexpensive menu

This bar is situated within the grounds of the old castle and part of the Pousada although not owned by the Pousada pleasant building with old stone vaulted ceiling. Very Modern furniture, and good outside area to sit illuminated with candles at night. Very pleasant Portuguese lady speaks good English.

I hope I am spelling her name correctly Marena was WONDERFUL. The moment my husband and I walked in, she was like extended family. She made our holiday and I truly hated to leave. That does not happen often. It is a great space part of the older element of the fort, but cozy, wonderful food, great service charming, informative. She is a treasure. I want to go back. We had a lot of worries about very sick family and being in her bar was a tonic for us. Thank you so much.
