Il Capitano - ANGLESEA

The pizza was very strange and the pastas had the taste of something that was frozen and heated in the microshaft. would not recommend and certainly would not return $90 not well spent.

Had a wonderful experience at Il Capitano. The chef and staff went out if their way to ensure I had a lovely birthday. Chef did a great job accommodating my husband's dietary needs. The food was fabulous all round.

Staff were enthusiastic, reliable, passionate with their welcome, service and the food was great. Hubby's steak was a little on the rarer side than it should be for medium rate but he enjoyed it all the same and he enjoyed his coffee. I had great prawns, they were yummy.

We were a party of two adults and three children who decided to wait for our food for 40 minutes, but nothing had arrived at our table. Initially, we thought we could manage the wait, especially after the waiter apologized for the delay during the first half-hour. However, we noticed that a table that had arrived after us received their meals before we did. Frustrated, we ultimately decided to leave hungry. We had ordered a pizza, which had just arrived when we made our decision to stay, but after 10 more minutes with no additional food arriving—still no appetizers—we chose to leave.
