Anglesea Fish And Chips

3.5/5 but rounded up for Zomato. Not a lot of selection for a Sunday ~1.30pm). However, settled on a plain beef pie which was okay. Their pastries looked good but I was in a savoury mood.

Prawn and scallop pie is a must, the focaccia was nice the donuts blew my girls mind, the best bakery I have been to in years and the service is 10/10!!

​The first vanilla slice on my Great Ocean Road drive, I wasn't expecting much from this typically vintage style bakery in Anglesea. After an unnecessary debacle trying to get the unhelpful shop assistant to get the slice in half, I finally sank my teeth into my half. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was too; with a creamy, rich, vanilla flavoured custard sandwiched between crispy, golden pastry. The icing had a nice texture too, although a little too thick in my opinion. Very unexpected indeed.

Great coffee one day, served by a young guy. The next day served by a young girl coffee was good but not great. The cakes and sweets look Devine and their bread is pretty hood too!

I agree with previous review the Salad rolls etc are outstanding in value and taste. The lamingtons are delish and always fresh. The scrolls, Boston buns etc are good but sometimes short supply. Donuts are aplenty and very good. 'Mate ' is the friendliest employee on the coast. This is the choice bakery of the strip for sure as it 's always fresh!
