The Sweetery - Anderson

I typically love The Sweetery, which is why I still give it 5 stars, but my latest visit was disappointing. Despite that, I highly recommend their six layer caramel cake. It is incredibly rich and absolutely delicious. It's convenient to be able to purchase a cake, have them write a personalized message, and also buy candles. The bakery makes things easy for customers. In addition to the cake, they offer a wide variety of cookies, sandwiches, and soups. Parking is easy and the staff are usually very friendly. These are all strong points of the restaurant.

I have enjoyed the strawberry cake from here for at least 20 years now. I have never had a bad dessert here but the strawberry is the best around. The sandwiches that they have at lunch time are defiantly worth grabbing if you are there. The French Dip is my favorite. All of the staff is always welcoming and friendly .

Very friendly staff. I got super distracted by all the delicious desserts they had. So much so that I'm almost missed they provided sandwiches. I decided to be adventurous and try their bacon melon grilled cheese. It was okay, but I wouldn't recommend it. But I think that the slice of pickle on the side doesn't mix well with the melon and the grilled cheese and the bacon. I would recommend this place to anybody.

First time visiting today. Got a Chocolate Peanut Butter layer cake for a birthday and it was absolutely delicious! Probably the best I have ever had! Will definitely visit again when in the area!

I am from Tennessee and recently visited my family in the area. I ordered lunch online and picked it up for myself and my grandmother. Our meals were perfectly prepared and packaged! The staff was welcoming and the food was delicious. I will definitely return!
