Waldrop's - Anderson County

I think our server did not want to be there and she should not have been. She barely spoke, no follow up, had to try and get her attention. She had three table out of the five occupied. We ordered a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns and did not want any of the bread items that came with it. I ordered just the sausage and cheese omelet and did not want any of the items that came with it. But I did order 1 pancake as a side. She never came to our table again. The cook brought our food to the table. We tried to get our servers attention for ketchup for the hash browns until we said excuse me could we get some ketchup please extremely loud. She dropped it at the table, never said a word. Omelets were just ok, hash browns were so greasy and did not taste well. The pancake was good though. A customer went to get the coffee pot to fill her cup and on her way back she asked us if we would like a refill. We had more interaction from a fellow diner than the server. When I went to the register to pay, we were not given a ticket nor was another set of diners in front of us at the register. When she rang us up, I inserted the credit card to pay and she said fill in the tip amount . Our bill for two omelets, one pancake and one coffee was $21. Gave the place a try as it is only three miles from us on the lake. As the title of the review states, a server can make or break a place.

Great food! Great service!! Today was our second time eating here and we will definitely be back! The owners and staff are so friendly and treat you like family!

We enjoyed a great breakfast this morning, it was our first time. Friendly staff, and very attentive. We look forward to going back.
