Blockhaus Laacher See - Andernach

It took 45 minutes walk, clockwise left) from Maria Laach Seehotel to climb here for an early lunch after the late morning. While I went around Laacher See, a nice 12 km walk, I came across this restaurant (and adjacent campsite) just at the right time for lunch. Not many people in the big room, but a very attentive staff served me a pleasant meal, very German, with a good beer. Prices slightly stiff, but it was compensated with the view over the lake. Stop when you are on this part of Rhineland-Palatinate.

All right. The staff is friendly. The food and drinks are overpriced 17 euros for a sausage and a beer. Toilet is also not free for guests.
