Restaurant Spycher - Andermatt

Reservations is a must! As our numbers were large we had a fix menu- the flambé. We had the steak chateaubriand, curry soup, Burrata salad and ice cream dessert! Taste was good, the steak cooked to perfection, and a generous amount!

Nice friendly pub with excellent service, provides good food at a reasonable price for the area. Pizza, Pasta, a few local dishes and burgers. Families welcome and a pleased atmosphere.

We were 2 families of 7 in total. It usually is a though party. But everything was amazing. The food was good quality and affordable. Most importantly we received a very patient, friendly and smiling service. Highly recommended

We had just cycled the Furka Pass and we stopped in Andermatt before heading back over the Gottard Pass for something to eat. It was 4pm in the afternoon and it was in between luch and dinner time and there were not a whole pile of places opened. We decided on the Spycher and we were extremely disappointed. The service was alright, they didnt care really. The food was average but the worst thing for us was the flies. We had moved inside in order to avoid them, but they were just as bad inside as they were outside. We could not eat our food without a swarm of flies landing on our plate. At one stage there were at least 15 flies on our table. It was disgusting. We could not get out of there fast enough.

Super friendly staff, only place „in“ Andermatt to eat, drink and chill. Andermatt is small and not busy at all in Winter p.s please don’t tell anyone !
