Yogurt Lounge - Anchorage

Accessible. This place has the cleanest topping bar that I have seen in Anchorage. I should have taken a photo of it... it was beautiful with fruits and cereal and candy and cookie like topping as well as a few other items like cheesecake bites. Nummy nummy. The product is charged by total weight and to get like a 2 cup size bowl filled × 2 people will generally add up to approximately $10.00 dollars per person.

The Yogurt Lounge has a nice, rotating, selection of frozen yogurt to choose from each week. And, the toppings are killer! So many good toppings, enjoy picking, choosing, and combing the toppings, go CRAZY!

Leaving one star, not because of the yogurt, but due to poor business practices. Last time we went in we paid TOP dollar for “self serve” frozen yogurt and the girl taking our money asked if we wanted to leave a tip. For what I thought, we served ourselves and she’s making a wage. We went back this evening and the girl behind the counter didn’t ask for a tip. I thought maybe someone mentioned that asking for a tip when you aren’t serving is pretty tacky. Not the case, this time I noticed the bill was $28… for two containers (one of which wasn’t even full). I quickly realized that an 18% tip was AUTOMATICALLY entered on the card machine and being charged on my card. I canceled the order and paid without a tip. “Tipflation” is a phenomenon occurring in this country and it is out of control. It is completely audacious and a borderline scam to put an automatic 18% on a customers bill. It is taking advantage of the customer, which is bad business. We won’t be back and we will be warning our friends and family.

Yum yum and yummiest! Oh the different flavors if frozen yogurt, so Delicious! And Thank you front lady for having great Customer Service Skills!
