West Berlin - Anchorage

West berlin was a pleasant surprise. Although I have been in alaska for many years, I was not aware that this place existed. if I had known that would not have been my first visit. unknown, West Berlin has been in business for about 10 years. I may have overlooked this restaurant because of its location in the mountain view area. not the best or most beautiful location in anchorage. also, the Kurb attack of its building is not up. but with the said that eating and the service were excellent. I have been in Germany several times and have also been home to a German currency student for a year. eating in West Berlin rivaled eating in Germany and the authentic eating that our exchange daughter has cooked. their prices were quite reasonable. $52 for a couple. that's with drinks and a whisper. I will definitely return. Thank you.

Delicious! highly recommended! the carving was delish. Sausage so delicious. the riders were ok- I recommend getting the traditional sides - the noodles were incredible. service was very good. space was very clean. the prices are very good.

A wonderful surprise! we thought we tried everything we had to offer anchoring until last week when we were introduced to West Berlin. our waitress was knowledgeable and welcoming, and our eating was phenomenal definitiw one must

Did a search for restaurants near me and am so pleased this one showed up. Nice staff and super tasty food. Really hit the spot!

I had the Schnitzel Weiner Art. Very delicious. I added the Rahm sauce. It needed a little moisture. Its similar to a chicken fried steak. We were in a large group. Call first for big groups, and they'll get you set up. Great service!
