The White Spot Cafe - Anchorage

This is more a diner than a café with a lunch counter, cabins along the wall and tables in the middle. Very casual and a great place for lunch. The smoked salmon-chowder was good (see Orso for amazing smoked salmon-chowder). But the claim of white spot to fame is indeed her Halibutt sandwich, that was delicious! Fries were also delicious. The service was attentive, but did not float. Would recommend a casual meal.

Super sweet little dune in place in anchorage, right from the heart of downtown. Amazing breakfast I am not a fan of cookies and Gravy, but their is definitely worth eating. My reindeer breakfast was perfectly cooked. Your homemade jams are TO DIE FOR! Whatever you do, Marmelade. Will return to lunch.

I will admit, I was a little frustrated, but after everything was said and done, this place is FREAKING AWESOME! Breakfast should die! The sections are humble. Where I saw couples to share a meal. Please note: As the plant is small, it can be filled quickly, so get there early. You have to sit. Find an open table and sit down. You have to turn off your waitress because they're too busy and they may not have noticed you. You can sit for a while waiting for your food. We waited an hour. Our total duration (2 hours). But the food was worth it!

If in Anchorage, this is a big breakfast place! We loved every bite. Service was wonderful, very friendly people! My husband had the clean Hash Gravy with eggs and toast. I had the low carb breakfast with stirrer, large sausage patty,v2 large pieces bacon and sauteed vegetables. Very good flavors for this breakfast lover.

Ate lunch at the White Spot cafe. It's really good. We have the famous halibut sandwich and the cod basket. The service was great!
