Bidrage med feedbackFrench toast and biscuits and gravy both delicious. Coffee was hot and fresh. Prices were reasonable for the area. The wait was long but you can put your name on the list online. I recommend this for sure. I would definitely go here again when visiting Anchorage.
Were looking for soup and salad items. At 2 p.m. this place was still very busy but started to slow down since 3p.m. is their closing time. Thai salad $16 : fresh, yummy. Minestrone soup and salad $12.50 : satisfying and fresh. Quality was definitely better than most places on our Alaska trip. :
I was at the cafe for breakfast today. They open at 6:30, I came at 7:00. According to the view, the capacity is 120 people, there were 20 of them. They immediately seated me. The waitress came in five minutes. In another 15 minutes I was eating. Everything was excellent. I give Kodiak Benedict 4 stars, the bottom was harder to cut, otherwise the taste is great. Kava Kaladi Brother's absolutely amazing, I bought a pack to take home. And the very biggest TOP cinnamon roll. Get it for $8. It is huge and completely melts on the tongue. Plus smiling professional waitresses. for not everything at first and I recommend it!
Great breakfast food! Just expect a long wait during the high-season in Anchorage. But definitely worth it if you have the time. You can take a walk around the downtown area and go explore while you wait. The french toast was amazing and the staff were extremely amazing.
A lot of hype over nothing. Long wait. Food mediocre at best. Pancakes tough to cut, French toast burnt. Food not hot nor fresh. Tasted and looked like too long under the heat lamp. Server very nice. Nice atmosphere. You can find better!
