Ryuu Bowl - Anchorage

Stopped in for lunch, found a quiet and cozy stop. I had the chicken katsu, it came with miso soup. Quick and tasty.

The price is right and you get a good amount of delicious food. Nice staff, and the inside is nice and clam.

Honestly better than most of the sit down sushi restaurants. Small space- only has a few bench seats. But that also means no frills, just good food. Wall art is cute comic book style, good atmosphere. Generous with their lunch specials.

Best chicken karage I've had in America! The sauce is a good pair with the chicken. It was the most similar to ones i've had in Japan. Sushi was good, not overwhelming with too much rice. Bibimbop sauce was a sour red gochujang sauce which is often used with raw fish bowls. I personally prefer the sweeter gochujang mix which is also more traditional korean. Cheesecakes were OK. Not on the sweet side at all. We always order take out as the inside seems a bit small and can feel crowded. Food is always prepared fast. Will be ordering more in the future.

Food was super good and the environment was very welcoming and friendly. They provide a lot of food for the price too, i had more for the next day
