Granny B's Closed - Anchorage

Too bad they don 't have a score higher than a 5 .... I would say this little restaurant is so granny like. We loved it !! The food is excellent. Just like your grandmother 's cooking. portions are plenty. It 's the best little hole in the wall I have been to. please go :

BEST PLACE I'VE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF EATING AT IN MY LIFE! BETTER THAN ANY 5 STAR RESTAURANT WITH $300 STEAKS AND $30 POTATOES! I WOULD CHOOSE THIS PLACE OVER ANY RESTAURANT ANY DAY! BEEN GOING THERE FOR 22 YEARS AND WILL BE GOING THERE FOR ANOTHER 22+ YEARS! I WAS HAVING A HARD TIME FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS SO I HADN'T BEEN ABLE TO GO BUT AS SOON AS I WALKED IN AND SAT DOWN, THE WAITRESS REMEMBERED MY NAME AND MY FAVORITE ORDER! Spectacular. I would definitely recommend you come here. So good. Get the pancakes and chicken fried steak.

Went to get breakfast with my boyfriend here a while back. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, and asked if I could have it served without the ham. The waitress asked why, and I said I was a vegetarian. The waitress then suggested that I get the omelette instead, but I wanted the breakfast sandwich. She said the chef couldn’t alter any of the meals. So I asked for more time. She then came back and sarcastically suggested that she could have the chef prepare a plate of vegetables for my breakfast. I declined, and ordered eggs with toast. While waiting for my food, I ran out to the car to grab something. While I was gone, the waitress sat down at our table and asked my boyfriend if i was “always this crazy.” Thankfully, my bf didn’t tell me this happened until we finished our meal and left. I definitely encountered a B at Granny B’s.

Best breakfast in anchorage! Anyone know when it will reopen?
