Heritage Khorikaa

We were recommended by multiple sources to try out this restaurant. However, the service was poor and the food was equally disappointing. It arrived cold and we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for it. Overall, it was a letdown.

This place is well located in a central place and has a decent ambience. You can find a good following for this restaurant, as it is nearly full always.. The thali is tasty and good served in brass and copper plates and bowls. Worth a...try for outsiders....to get a feel of the land.

We all family members had been to this Restaurant to have a taste of Assamese Thali. Very first time we all had Assamese Thali and the preparation was excellent and we all liked very much and have decided to have excellent Thali we had there...in our next trip to Guwahati.

We (my family and me) had our dinner at Chef Atul Lahkar 's Heritage Khorika on 27th of July, 2018. The ambience was wonderful with books, pictures to look at till the food arrives. The food was amazing. We ordered five veg akhaj thalis and chicken...dry fry with bhagun fish fry. The taste of the Assamese thali was splendid. The fried fish and the chicken was heavenly. Hope to visit the place again ,soon.

Quaint little place with a nice ambience. The Chef Owner has obviously got Chef Gordon Ramsay to come by as he has a prominent picture with him. The photographs displayed show great talent. The talent is spread in the cooking as well. I tried...the Ari fish in banana leaf and it was quite delicious. Unfortunately the day we went a lot of food items were not available. The rest of the group 5 of us ladies, were quite happy with the choices. The food did take a bit of time to be served but that just implies a freshness to the cuisine. Extremely reasonable rates as well.
