Bidrage med feedbackThe staff are very nice and friendly. Everyone is super helpful and accommodating. There were employees striking outside during our stay. Hilton, compensate your people fairly! We tried to order room service through the QR code in the room but it didn’t work. So I called front desk, concierge and the food service number. after being transferred backed and forth, being hung up on, and finally getting to the dining line, Joe was helpful and figured out the system had our last name wrong somehow. He told us to use the QR system again with the wrong last name and it still didn’t work! Dejected, we ended up with DoorDash. Our king room looked nothing like the photos online. Very run down and old brown interiors everywhere. Where are the bright blue rooms from online?? Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures. You probably won’t get a room like it.Stains on the wall near the bed, the bath tub scraped up from overuse and didn’t drain. No hooks on the wall in the bathroom to dry towels so we had to keep asking for new ones which we don’t like to do because drought is still a thing in CA! The room and bathroom are pretty small. The worst part is the AC unit. The thermostat doesn’t work so it would run super cold no matter what temp we tried. We ended up just having to turn it off. I don’t know when the vents were last cleaned because I ended up with an allergy attack that I usually only get from A LOT of dust. That is not a note to housekeeping, that is a comment on the age of this hotel. We ended up getting a humidifier from CVS because my 12-month old got super congested from the dusty and horrible AC in the room. The themes of the room are old and dusty. Literally brown and bland. It was hard for me to feel like it was clean when it all seemed overused and old. The price point is decent for the proximity to Disney. But there are several much newer facilities in the area that are just as close where you don’t have to pay $24/night for parking. I won’t be staying here again.
I used to love this place, but I felt it’s gone a little down hill since the pandemic. The lobby is nice, but honestly our room sucked. It’s bare bones at best. No mirror, only one nightstand, no lights- it was kinda weird. I had other family staying there when we were, and it was the same for them too. I wish I was a fan.. but it’s just changed a lot.Rooms: Just sub par. I swear they used to be betterNearby activities: Disneyland, duh! Too far for me to walk, but they did have a bus!Food drinks: Starbucks inside the hotel was terrible. Drinks and food were not good.
I would not choose to stay here again. Because we were in town for a conference this was the chosen accommodation. The room was gross. The carpet was nasty and torn. The desk was dusty, fridge was frozen and we found bugs in our shower. The AC never shut off and the room was still warm. I took photos of the stains on the walls, torn carpet and bug in the shower. On top of this, for 4 mornings in a row we were woken up with people protesting outside of the front entrance. They were banging pots and pans and using loud horns. Overall not a great stay. We did not have much interaction with staff but the lady at the desk when we checked in was very nice.
Sewage coming up through the tub twice in one day and then having to move rooms wasn't pleasant. I would expect better from a hotel like this. Other than that issue, everything was good. Food in the restaurant could be better for the price. $21 dollars for a sandwich seems a bit much, and having to pay extra for fries????? Do better.Rooms: 2/5
Hotel is worn but functional. Some rooms are better done than others. If you have the option, choose the room on the app. Several rooms are extra tiny. Rooms were clean and everything functioned.Ignore all advertisements stating they have a food court. Technically they do. But it probably is not open. If it is open it is not the greatest quality and probably only one place will be open. 4 nights and it was not open at dinner time. (5pm Friday and Saturday in July. I was here mid June and at dinner the pizza restaurant was open and busy. It was the only place open. They have a time share desk in the lobby stopping people as they walk by. This can get you a few extra points if you stop and chat.Front desk is lovely with helpful people. The Disney face painting was great for the kids.Avoid the overly expensive hotel restaurant. Powdered scrambled eggs? Seriously Hilton, as made to order, that's all you got? I felt like I walked into Circus Circus Hotel and Casino buffet. Come on, you can do better for the price you charge. There are two gift stores, one is Disney themed merchandise, one is a gift shop/sundries shop. Friendly service at both. The pool was lovely, ample amount of lounge chairs, stacks of clean towels. Two jacuzzi tubs, small children's play area.
