Bidrage med feedbackAs a hard Marvel fan, the Avengers campus was a very emotional experience for me. it is as if they go through their childhood. there was only one trip next to guardians, the web slingers that many Easter had for phase 4. pym test kitchen was so interesting when they watched the ant man and wasp films (the brezel was huge). I hope they add more rides and have a bit more control for covid. overall I would recommend going!
We came in November. It felt like they took the covid protocols pretty seriously so we felt safe being in an area with a huge amount of people. The wait didn't seem too long for the rides. The app is a must because it let's you know where you are and it's GPS is pretty good. It also helps to know which rides have a longer wait than others. We stopped by the snowman for some soft serve and it was good. I got mango and he got lemon. The lemon was delicious, way more flavorful than the mango.
Disneyland is cool and all, but California Adventure is really where the fun's at. Cars Land is astounding, and Pixar Pier is beautiful! As an adult I enjoyed this park a hell of a lot more, partly because there were lesser crowds and the rides were more fun. Mainly, I thought the food choices to be LOTS better. Let me get started -I foolishly began my day at Pym Tasting Lab with an overpriced bee's knees called the Honey Buzz (Plymouth gin, lemon juice, honey syrup with a honey stick). Minus the abhorrent amount of ice they have to put in, I loved this sugar-filled beverage. It def lived up to it's name, I was pretty buzzed for the rest of the morning (I'm a lightweight and I'm proud of it).Next up was the delicious, limited edition Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake Churro (phew, that's a mouthful from the Cozy Cone Motel 1. Talk about sugary heaven! I loved it! It was so crispy and warm, although I could hardly tell the churro had any cheesecake flavoring. Nonetheless, still good and would recommend!!!For a mid-morning snack my husband and I made our way to the Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats for the famous Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait (nondairy lemon soft serve with blue raspberry ICEE swirl, $6.99). THIS WAS FREAKING PHENOMENAL. Not only is it a bang for your buck, but it tastes crazy good. It wasn't even that warm of a day and I enjoyed every bit of it, I can only imagine how refreshing it would taste on a hot Californian day.Next we headed back to Cars Land for a Bacon Mac N Cheese Cone 8.99) for lunch. There was a generous amount of bacon not only sprinkled on top of the cone but also mixed inside with the mac. Full of cheesy goodness and tasted very good! The star of the entire day was my mid-day snack, the Cosmic Cream Orb. Yeah it’s kinda ugly on the outside but don’t be fooled. It’s a crispy cream puff with whipped raspberry cheesecake mousse. It is TO DIE FOR! Out of everything I ate I’m still thinking about this and scrambling to find a copycat recipe ASAP!I ended the day with Asada fries from Award Wieners 10.49). It’s their signature filmstrip fries with marinated carne Asada, cheddar, cilantro and onions. They were ‘ight, very simple compared to some of the park’s out-of-this-world creations. Nothing really special but still tasted great as I was eating them!As far as theme park good goes, Disney does a phenomenal job creating some of the most eye-catching and mouth-watering morsels that truly deliver. A+
This park is awesome ,but a certain manager made our day. She saw that I was tired and treated us like family. Her name is TERI ROSS she's a manager and works at Lamp Light lounge at Pixar Pier!! Thanks lady and enjoy your retirement, you are so sweet and kind!!
California Adventure is a wonderful companion park to Disneyland. Put together by different themed areas, just like Disneyland. Plenty of attractions for adults and kids. I thought of it as a mix of Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland.
