Doyle's Seafood - An daingean

Doyle's Seafood is the best restaurant in Dingle and maybe all of Ireland. The seafood is outstanding and the service is the best. This is a very special place!

Loved this place. They have two menu options. We went with the tapa style menu. It was absolutely delicious. Each dish so carefully prepared and with the most tasty flavours. When I return to Dingle I can’t wait to go back. We were sitting in the back area of the restaurant. Nicely decorated but lacked atmosphere for some reason. Hopefully we will sit in the front part next time. It looked lovely,

There is a lot to like about Doyles : the food is excellent, there is a comprehensive and nit overpriced wine list snd service is good. We liked the food so much on our first visit we booked for the following night. The Spanish fish stew is highly recommended as is the black sole. The restaurant is busy not the place for a quiet romantic meal. My only caveat snd the reason for the 4* instead of 5 is that the extension room where we are the first night is totally lacking in any ambience whatsoever. It’s functionality somewhat detracts from the overall experience whilst not over expensive this is not a cheap, eating just because I’m hungry sort of place and enjoyment. It didn’t stop us returning but I’m v pleased we were in the original restaurant the second night.

If you love seafood please stop here! Everything we tried was great (and we tried a lot because of wonderful small plates). Great service and full bar aswell. I will say, difficult to just walk in unless you’re near opening time (5pm) and they want you to leave before 2 hours. Great spot!

The small plates where excellent . Monkfish taco very tasty . Excellent wine list and the staff where very nice and helpful
