518 Grille - Amsterdam

This place is great! The waitresses are awesome. The wings are warm and the beer is cold. THIS is the place to go when you want a good dinner, fast. Come for the food, come back because the waitresses are amazing.

Walked in on 3/17/22 7.06pm. Yelp says open till 9. Door says open till 9. Waited to be seated lady tells us they are closed. They just did not want to be there. Too ad.

Great little place to grab a bite. Kid friendly, priced fair, great service and food. My husband and I both had burgers that were good and my daughter got the kids quesadilla with fries which she said was good. The fries were really good as well.

This is a decent burger joint. The burger patties were a little dry and unseasoned but overall on par with Burger King or Wendy's. The chicken wings were actually quite good, crispy on the outside and juicy (like a cherry pie) on the inside. On a random side note, why celery? Why do they give you celery with chicken wings? Celery adds no nutritional value and only wastes precious space on the plate that could be used for more wings. The french fries tasted like they were from a frozen bag but they were salted and will make a turd. The service was quick but unmemorable. My only complaint would be that I ordered onion rings but did not get them. I did not bother mentioning this to the the waitress because I do not really care and I am sure the waitress does not care either. I actually liked the quick service and would suggest that if you want time to enjoy your appetizers, wait until you finish eating your appetizer before you order your food.

This is the most underrated restaurant in Amsterdam! The food is delicious and the prices are so fair. My roast beef grinder was absolutely phenomenal and my cousin said his chicken cordon blue sandwich was the best he's ever had. I highly recommend this place to everyone passing through on Rt 30!
