Bidrage med feedbackThe food for our private dinner was inedible; rubbery pork belly, tough-as-leather duck breast with a tiny bird leg next to it (maybe 10 grams of meat in the whole dish , tiny portions overall, odd combos that make no sense, warm Riesling (so sad! , and after years of doing so, they still randomly put one single muscle on top of meat dishes. Furthermore, the co-owner Bram is shockingly rude. They HAD a good reputation, but they no longer merit it.
My friend, and I came by chance. it looked good. we were greeted by amanda, who set us and suggested we order.
I was really looking forward to this, unfortunately it was a poor experience. We had a team Christmas dinner booked here for 2 months, on the last week before the date they told us they were going to move our booking to 17:30 so they could move the tables and show the football at 19:30. We couldn’t find a reservation for our whole team last minute anywhere else we wanted to go. Starter and desert were very tasty. The main course, beef, was poor. We couldn’t choose how to get it cooked, it was served cold, super tough, we were getting jaw fatigue eating it. It wasn’t overcooked, it was just a poor quality meat. Service was good, the wait staff were friendly and helpful. They present an image of knowing their meats but it was a bad experience and therefore overpriced.
An absolute favorite! From the knowledge and familiarity of the team to the vibe always at the point. The food is exceptional and well worth a detour
