San Stefano Amsterdam

We went last minute to dinner in amsterdam and knew nothing except that carstens had good reviews. we had the seasonal menu and a wee pair and it was delicious!

Verrader. Mooie originele gerechten met vers smaak. Mooie en gezellige instelling. Open keuken. Goede dienst. Er valt niet veel op. Prijs kwaliteit is ook dik.

I had a 4-course holiday menu... the first curs was pate, not leave. second dish was kartoffeln with a soft boiled egg, but I found a hair on my teller. third was steak, but was 25 minutes after the second plate with hair and the steak was extremely hard and blanching. the waiter took the second cure and gave us 2 drinks. te waitstaff were very nice, just huge in the food dissppointed. there are many other restaurants in ams to enjoy.

Amazing Christmas Day experience. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and the Christmas spirit. The food spread was amazing, so much to choose from. Although on the expensive side it was very much worth it and we got value for money. The whole venue was beautiful. It was a fantastic Christmas in Amsterdam thanks to Carstens. Thank you!

Eten lekker, jammer dat chef zout georiënteerd is waardoor keuze voor zoutarm beperkter is. Gerechten zijn zeer smaakvol en mooi bereid. Hoeveelheden zijn ook goed geportioneerd. Bediening kan een stuk beter
