The Funky Olive Restaurant, Bar, Pizza Sushi

The atmosphere, food and drinks were amazing. The owners were on site and personally thanked us for visiting the restaurant. Loved our time here and everything was great!!

I heard so many good things so we had to try it yesterday for lunch. I’m so glad we did. The wait staff is so friendly and professional. We really enjoyed talking with René and he even hooked us up with free swag. The Sashimi appetizer was perfect. We also had ordered an incredibly fresh Baja fish taco and the chicken “burger” Buffalo style was right on flavor wise. The smash burger bun made it challenging to eat but we’re on vacation, challenges are muy bueno. Also a great shaded spot to sip and watch life go by. Very disappointing experience. Ordered the vegan tacos and was brought pork tacos. Inquired about the mistake with our waitress who brought over another employee. No responsibility was taken by the waitress and the second employee informed us firmly that we would be charged for the food we received. No effort was made to recognize the mistake other than offering to charge us for more food if we still wanted vegan tacos. What was an honest mistake by the waitress could have been easily resolved but the pressure tactics are not welcome. Will not be returning.

Lovely smaller menu. My husband always needs a hamburgeeesa after a few days in MX. we have been back twice. Really tasty beef. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos. They were great. Also, their sushi was outstanding. I ordered the sashimi, which I never do at home. It was tuna with a very thin slice of lemon dollops of avocado cream, ponzu sesame seeds. To die for. Chardonnay good, service great. Price point good. Nice view of the whole Marina!!! The double cheeseburger is awesome layers of flavor. Today I had the crispy chicken sandwich it was very tasty as well. I also meet Johnny Cabo and Renee. Nicest people they made me feel right at home. They even gave some free merchandise. The music is older Rock mix and was very good as well. I will definitely be back as I am a local.
