Cafe Amore St Catharines

The gentleman that served us was excellent. We ordered the roasted garlic and goat cheese appi which was unbelievably good. My wife ordered the spicy chicken Caesar salad which was also excellent. I ordered a create your own pizza, which was very tasty but unfortunately it was a little under cooked. Not enough of a problem to bother mentioning because the pizza was good. Overall it was an excellent meal with a great waiter.

You can never go wrong eating at Cafe Amore. We had a chicken wing appetizer... they were Excellent... our entrees were Veal Parmesan, Steak with Gorgonzola cheese and a make your own topping Pizza.... the Pizza came just as I liked it!!! You Gotta Eat Here!!!!!

Our service was great. Food came very quickly, maybe a bit too fast. Was not near finished appetizer. Salads are very bland. Sliced steak had alot of fat on it. Alfredo was a small portion but flavourful.

The goat cheese appetizer was disappointing as the garlic was dried out and could not spread it on the toast. I have had it before and it has been excellent. Hopefully it was an off night. All other plates were delicious as usual. The wings were fantastic and pasta and pizza orders cannot be matched.

Waitress was prompt, funny and attentive. Prices for mixed drinks quite high, 4 individual cocktails was 60.00. My wife's steak dinner was 45.00. Steak was thin and she said it had a funny taste, I tried it and I was surprised she even ate half. It had a burnt taste like the grill had not been cleaned and the char taste went through the steak. We are not complainers as this is one of my favorite restaurants to go to, but we will never order steak there again. Also, this place needs to really be dusted. Our entertainment was all 4 of us seeing how many cob webs we could find. Overall I still rate it a 4 star
