The Café - Ames

The Cafe is always good, and always fresh both in cooking and ideas. That's really rare, to keep up quality and creativity. My daughter and I had the Brussels sprout appetizer. Excellent. Then we shared the Gaucho Pizza and the kale and quinoa salad. Both were, to use an old term, beyond reproach. The pizza crust was very handmade. Any foodie will go away happy, as well as anyone who just enjoys good food intelligently thought out, well cooked, and enthusiastically presented. Bravo!

We like it! The Caipirinhas are the best in town if you like those. Mac Cheese is my favorite of course they even cater to my crazy requests like adding this that or the other thing to my favorite. Very accommodating. Great staff, great bar too.

The food is fantastic. If you want a huge complex menu this place is not for you. Simple menu,fresh local ingredients,friendly people. If you try nothing else go there try the bread the salads or the desserts you will be amazed.

Yummy unusual dining experience. They fix food in ways you cannot imagine. Have enjoyed everything everytime. Fantastic breads and desserts as well.

My favorite restaurant ever. Only consistently delicious food and great service place. We drive 45 ish minutes just to eat here.
