ASK Italian Amersham

Although the food at this restaurant was good, the service was extremely slow and disorganized. The starters arrived at different times, with one dish missing a part. We waited a long time for our mains and even after finishing our meal, it took 20-30 minutes for the dessert menu to be brought to us. When we finally asked for the bill and for our leftovers to be packed up, there was a delay in providing boxes. The staff only asked about payment method after we had already put on our coats and stood up. Despite a good vegan menu, the lack of cleanliness in the toilets and the overall lack of customer service led us to determine that we will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to others. It seemed that the staff were not motivated and the empty restaurant may have been explained by our own negative experience.

Good food although slow service considering they were not busy

We used to prefer Pizza Express in Amersham, but the chefs consistently undercook the pizzas, leaving them doughy and mushy. We decided to try Ask instead and were pleasantly surprised by the 100% better pizzas, as well as the huge selection and gluten-free options available. Although a bit pricey at over £70 for three people at lunch without ordering alcohol, we would definitely return.

Great modern Italian decor with a modern menu and vibe. Wasn 't blown away with 'lite ' pizza I ordered.

Really nice, freshly cooked food. Fresh ingredients and made to order. Good range on the menu and pizzas particularly are great. Set in a lovely old building, the staff and service is great, and also cater well for young children
