Trattoria Rustica - Amberg

What are you doing on Ash Wednesday in the evening? Go to the pizza! Many had not opened the Trattoria. Located in the basement, I remembered it darker, but yesterday everything was nicely lit. That's it! The reserved table was quickly found, the choice of drinks as always fast, while we need to eat ladies for longer and longer until we know. It's always something more important... The three pizzas ordered quickly came to the table with all the orders. All large at the edge of the plate, crispy baked, richly covered. My pizza bruschetta swims centrally in olive oil, the buffalo mozzarella and also the tomatoes were good. Because of the many oils it has become very muddy. But she couldn't eat because of the crowd, so I left the middle. As always, the service was very attentive and could not be noticed when we were the last guests. I like that! Good price/performance ratio, clear recommendation!

The Trattoria Rustica is located in the former potato cellar. The facility is rustic, but gives the restaurant a feel-good ambience and you can sit very comfortably everywhere. Even if food sometimes takes longer (freshly prepared only needs its time), the menu is highly recommended! From huge wood stove pizzas that protrude far beyond the plate to juicy cattle steaks with lush addition to homemade desserts, there is something for every palate. The stylish Trattoria is also suitable for business dinners. Conclusion: My new favorite pizza in Amberg.

In recent months we have fed several times in the Trattoria Rustica. The food comes from the price-performance ratio TOP, the pizzas are provided with a thin and crossed floor and the pasta dishes are of intense taste, far away from the convenience food. The dishes are lovingly dressed, the service is beautiful and friendly. The location (former potato cellar) is bright and manageable, certainly not everyone's thing, but we feel it as pleasant. In summer you can also sit in the cattle market street in front of the restaurant, just outside Georgenstraße. No place for a candlelight dinner or business dinner, but as an alternative to cooking (also for family with children) or for a food after sports, language course etc. absolutely recommended. For us an enrichment of the already numerous Amberger Italo gastronomy.
