We sat at a small table opposite the food preparation area. It was wonderful to see typical Calabria dishes being produced and better still to eat them accompanied with local wine. A step back in time, ideal for foodies like us. Visit and enjoy
Our family brought us here to discover the specialties, and I was perfect. They took the time to explain the different wine they offered which was great. The food was very good. You can order big plates of food that you can share. We had Calabrian ham and cheese with vegetables! We where glad to discover this restaurant!
I pray that in my holidays in Calabria dinner with fish possiblely on the sea is obligatory. Instead I wanted to try to eat in a square that to say cozy is little with a special climate and a welcome from the exceptional owner. First evening fish cutter to try but the best, and here I had to believe, it was the second evening when on the advice of the owner I ate a cutter of meats and cheeses accompanied by burrata and fresh na ricotti and to finish in rolls of pork revisited all a delight for the palate. I have decided you can make a rude to the rule and when I return to Amantea I will definitely return also from Amarcord
