We were traveling through and like many folks I’m sure, were enticed to pop in because of the massive longhorn skull entrance.My order was a burger and fries – It was not the best and believe me, I’ve had many. My burger was served on a greasy covered bun with my choice of toppings, however the fries were despicable. Everytime I gripped the burger, the bun broke apart or slipped out of my hands! Great if you 're a magician.Long after our food was served, in fact, almost done, the waitress decided to check on our status. Like a programmed 'AI ' she asked, “How’s everything?”When I told her that the fries are not the greatest and I didn’t know you were serving McDonald’s french fries here, she just shrugged it off with a smile and said “Oh well,” as she walked away. An instant lack of concern there.As for my wife’s dish, it was a ‘chicken bowl’, a mish mosh of sorts. Basically, the rice was coagulated, mushy and lacked flavor. If that was lunch, I would hate to think of what dinner would be like.Overall, I would not recommend eating there. Unless of course you 're a local and you 're used to this cuisine, or you don 't mind stereotypical, greasy bar food, or care about your weight and high cholesterol, for that matter.It’s a shame, how alluring the exterior and interior is so inviting and yet the cuisine falls short to compliment the name.I should 've listened to our neighbour.It 's time to change management or a chef for that matter.Bring in Gordon Ramsay Please!
