Grande Muralha - Alvor

Last two occasions I bought a chickeball, fried rice and curry sauce I was more than disappointed, especially as I have been a regular customer since 2015. The curry sauce is like soup, bad soup. I called to advise and I was rushed off the phone. This evening it was the same meal, sauce like soup, fried rice was way overcooked, and some of the chicken balls were tough, too tough to eat. I called and was asked am I looking for a free meal… I said definitely not… only to let u know I am dissatisfied and I won’t be going back…. By end of this season their reputation will be destroyed… by themselves.

Nice spot for a family meal. Excellent service and pleasant staff. Food was served promptly. We ordered the chicken curry and it was quiet nice. Food is reasonably priced for big groups.

Excellent food, quick service, good value for money. Friendly service and lovely surroundings Our first visit and unfortunately we return home Tommorow but it will be definitely on our list to visit again when we return

Came here twice lovely chicken curry with chilli through it the noodles were excellent also service was great with a nice shot of port at the end of the meal

Chinese food at its best and very moderately priced. Staff are so friendly and upon return will always welcome you back. Don't be put off as it's up a set of stairs, just beside the taxi rank. The complimentary glass of port after eating, is a very nice gesture. Definitely give it a visit and you will not be disappointed.
